Food sensitivities can cause a variety of health issues including GI distress, rashes, anxiety, headaches, fatigue and brain fog. When people are unknowingly exposed to foods that are inflammatory to their bodies it can result in a variety of symptoms. Identifying food sensitivities can help patients follow a diet that promotes healing. Sometimes food sensitivities are a result of damage in the gut. We can work together to modify the diet and heal gut damage. After the damage is healed, often, some of the problematic foods can be reintroduced to the diet and enjoyed in moderation. Our gut is an important part of our immune system. Improving gut health can result in improved digestion, better nutrient absorption, increased energy levels, pain reduction, weight loss and an improved sense of wellbeing. There are several panels to choose from. The basic panel is appropriate for most patients but there are expanded panels available if there are specific foods that need to be included. The egg sub-fraction test allows us to learn if your body reacts to egg whites and/or egg yolks. The milk sub-fraction tests allows to learn if your body reacts to casein or whey.
